Day 30

i had a GREAT evening after the awesome family party at a bonfire in granby. s'mores, soda and friends. does it get much better? ~Abbie

Had a big Memorial Day party with the family today. The kiddie tub and the slip 'n slide were set up for the kiddos and they had a blast! Fun day. ~Angel

Day 29

haha, yes same wedding. i thought that the cake topper was so unique and so classic at the same time. :) ~Abbie

Day 28

My friend is getting married tomorrow, and we spent the day getting the flowers trimmed and in vases, and the last minute details together.  It all turned out so pretty! ~Angel

We got to sing a concert in this beautiful church this evening, and so of course i saw a picture opp. it was a little hot in there, but no one fainted, which is good. anyway. sorry i'm so flaky about posting on the blog. (thats for mom and angel, since they get on my case all the time. and hannah too.) ~Abbie

Day 27

This funny little cross-eyed baby was so cute i couldnt resist. :) ~Abbie

So... didn't come out quite as clear as it looked on my camera :p but spent the evening at a bachelorette party for a friend, and the table looked so pretty all set for dinner... pink flowers, pink candles, and even pink drinks! ~Angel

Day 26

We visited Webs today, one of the coolest yarn stores ever!  Rows and rows of beautiful, silky yarn... made me very happy. :)  ~Angel

this cloud was so perfect this afternoon. all white and fluffy, the sun was coming from behind giving it a literal silver lining. ~Abbie

Day 25

this was DELICIOUS pasta that i got at Carrabba's. i couldnt finish it, but i brought it home, and cant wait to eat the rest. ~Abbie

Been working on this little wrap for my mom for the last couple days. About halfway though and looking good. :) ~Angel

Day 24

well, i basically did the same thing as Angel, but i took a picture of our little mvp. this kid can pitch like nobody's business. ;) having an awesome time with the sis here. ~Abbie

Hung out with the kiddos today, and watched Ethan play baseball! :)  Fun day with my favorite little people.  ~Angel

Day 23

Oh yeah... s'mores!  We did hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill, and in a stroke of brilliance, decided to use the hot grill coals to make s'mores. :)  Life is good.  ~Angel

Buy one get on half off at Payless.. i couldnt resist! Angel is here, and so far, we havent gotten in any arguments. ;) ;) ~Abbie

Day 22

Hannah made this cute little elephant Girard... She just finished it tonight. i told her that when i have a baby shes needs to make me a panda bear. ~Abbie

Made it safely to CT to see the family for a few days. A quick shot of somewhere on the East Coast. :) ~Angel

Yummm... i made these awesome pancakes for dinner. :) Malachi didnt like them though.. silly. ~Abbie

Yeah, I know, it's food again. :) But here is my yummy homemade pizza. Busy day, so this was my easy peasy dinner idea. ~Angel

Day 20

So my sweet hubby took me out to Yogurtland tonight, one of my new favorite dessert places! Delicious flavors, lots of toppings, and all for just $0.30 an once. :) ~Angel

My dining room table is full of stuff right now- so full, in fact, that we haven't eaten off it in several days. This pretty new serving bowl is one of the items cluttering it up. Too pretty to put away, I think. However, I would like to be able to sit at a table to eat, so practicality will have to win out over beauty. :) ~Angel

Day 18

A friend of mine gave me a set of placemats, and I liked the little bobbles stitched on to the ends. They looked so festive sitting on my dining room table. ~Angel

so, i just love this sign. i know this is not an artistic picture or anything, but i couldnt resist. we had our very first concert tonight, and it was at a retirement home, so they have this funny sign in case any one is allergic to oxygen. ~Abbie

Day 17

So I know this is another baking photo, and I while I don't want to get repetitive with my photo subjects and bore my interested viewers, I just had to take a picture of my beautifully browned (and ridiculously delicious) loaves of banana strawberry bread. Yes, that's right, banana strawberry. Best idea I've had in a very long time. :) ~Angel

There were a couple horses visiting Barts today, so i thought, HEY! and snapped this cute mug shot. not as cute as Eva, but you know... ;P ~Abbie

Day 16

A cold, cloudy day, but these pretty flowers definitely brightened the afternoon! ~Angel

Day 15

i know this picture is boring, but the sky has been so blue, and the trees so green, i was trying to capture it... this doesnt really do a great job, hopefully i can get a better one soon. ~Abbie


We took Eva to dog beach today, one of her favorite places ever! She chased other dogs, dug a hole, got wet and sandy, and had a blast. And not that I'm biased or anything, but she was definitely one of the cutest dogs there. :) ~Angel

Day 14

My friend Sarah invited me over to make cupcakes, and sent me home with half the batch!! :) They were so tasty, and looked cute all piled up together. ~Angel

this is the very first pink rose to bloom on our rose bush.. it looked so pretty in the evening sunlight that i had to snap a picture of it. (ps- sorry on all the late posts btw. i have no excuse. ) ~ Abbie

Day 13

These are the pretty fliers that Dr. Keen made for our choir concerts. we have our very first one coming up this tuesday! ah! ~Abbie

So I'll admit it... I kinda like the palm trees. Not all of them, and not all the time, but sometimes, when I'm enjoying the beautiful weather, soaking up the sun, and watching the palm trees blow about in the breeze, I really like them. Today was one of those days. So I give you: a swaying, dancing palm. ~Angel

Day 12

K, so here it is finally. this is a little person that Lydia and i created with our orange peels. :)

So, i have terrible news. i misplaced my camera. :( i PROMISE that i will post todays picture (and i have a good one) as soon as i find it, which will probably be tomorrow, since i'm just heading off to bed. ~Abbie



Happy picture for two reasons: 1) Bought new shoes today and 2) Spent the beautiful, sunny afternoon hanging out at the pool with my guy, wearing the new shoes. :) ~Angel

Day 11

It's always a very exciting part of my week when I get to visit the Library. I had a couple books to return today, and a requested book that had come in, and took a moment while I was there to take a quick photo of our little library. ~Angel




I'm getting totally psyched for college, especially since there is a potential trip down to FL in July for SOAR, a pre-register/spend time on campus event. :) ~Abbie

Day 10

Not really sure what kind of plant this is, but it looked so pretty as I was walking into Bible Study I just had to snap a quick picture. It looks sort of autumn-ish, but it was a cold, autumn-ish day, so it fit. ~Angel



So this is my amazing, wonderful friend Heather McIlroy (say: mack ill roy) and she is laughing. as you can see. we were driving home from d-group ( which stands for Da most awesome Group ever) and we were listening to Tik Tok be Ke$ha (say: Key money symbol Haa) which is not the same as our theme song for the day all the single ladies by beyonce. :):) basically, i love d-group, and it makes my mondays end on an up note. ~Abbie

Day 9

A beautiful afternoon, spent with family... blowing bubbles. :) I haven't blown bubbles in a long time, but it was a fun time. With my little digital camera, I found bubbles to be ridiculously hard to photograph, but after snapping about 100+ photos, I did get some decent shots. :) ~Angel

Day 8

i couldn't resist competing with Angels delicious looking strawberries from a few days ago... so here is a little snack that Mary-Kate and i made this evening.. maybe mine aren't as red and fresh as Angels, but they were covered in chocolate, which just makes them better. :) ~Abbie

On sunlit spring days, I have dreams of growing a gorgeous array of flowers on my balcony. However, after investing lots of time and money and having almost all my plants die, I have given up hope of ever really growing anything very beautiful. I thoroughly enjoy admiring everyone else's flowers though, and spent some time today soaking up the sunshine, and snapping photos of sweet, delicate roses. ~Angel

Day 7

This CD (Sparks Fly-Miranda Cosgrove) has basically been my obsession of late, its kinda all i can listen to. haha, i'm sure i'll get bored of it soon, but for now i'm excited to have some new music. ~Abbie


So, probably not something found in every household, but a pair of combat boots is something I stumble over often here. Lots of love to my number one fan, and wearer of these combat boots. ~Angel
