Day 7

This CD (Sparks Fly-Miranda Cosgrove) has basically been my obsession of late, its kinda all i can listen to. haha, i'm sure i'll get bored of it soon, but for now i'm excited to have some new music. ~Abbie


So, probably not something found in every household, but a pair of combat boots is something I stumble over often here. Lots of love to my number one fan, and wearer of these combat boots. ~Angel

Day 6

So, I did my grocery shopping today, and got all my produce at Henry's Farmers Market (my new favorite place for amazingly good deals on fruits and vegetables). Among my purchases were these strawberries, which were not only large and and beautiful, but also ridiculously delicious and juicy. Yah for southern CA, and scrumptious fruits available year round. :) ~Angel



so i know nature is probably getting a little old, but i cant resist, the flowers are everywhere. every day i'm so thankful that i don't have allergies like the rest of my sneezing, snuffling family, because i couldn't enjoy this gorgeous weather as much. :) ~Abbie

Day 5: 360 days left!

Since Eva considers herself a very important part of the family, I didn't think it would be fair if she didn't get her fair share of attention on the blog. So, the first (of many, I'm sure) cute little Eva picture. :) ~Angel



So, to all my avid followers, i sincerely apologize for my not posting the picture for day 4 till day 5. but i assure you that the picture actually was TAKEN on day 4... if thats any consolation. please forgive me.

Day 4

A few weeks ago I put some books on hold, most of which were new books. Unfortunately, since they were new, I was very low in the queue and I had little hope of seeing them anytime soon. However, one arrived at my Library this weekend, and I picked it up this morning. I was very excited to get it, and happily added it to my stack of reading books! ~Angel

Day 3

So, this WAS my lovely, colorful, clean room... on saturday. but now its just a mess, since the boys have taken over... this is a great sadness. ~Abbie

After discovering a muffin cookbook that I had never used sitting in my cupboard, I decided to make a batch of (healthy) cranberry muffins. They made the house smell delicious, and turned out quite yummy! Looking forward to trying more recipes from my "new" cookbook! :) ~Angel

Day 2

Spent lots of time knitting today, and had to take a quick pic of my yarn laying out, it just looked so artistic. :) ~Angel

So, I had a lot of photo opportunities today since its been an exciting one, full of events like church, baseball, packing up my bedroom, Malachi and Micah coming home, and an evening at youth group. It was hard to decide on just one. But this one is of my dear friend Shelby who is in the senior girl discipleship group (aka d-group) with me. The baby is my youth leader's daughter Eden. ~ Abbie

Day 1: 364 days to go. ;)

So, when I woke up on this lovely Saturday morning (at 7:30 am, can you believe it? what is wrong with me?), on the very first of May, I was greeted by these gorgeous Wisteria that are climbing all over our porch, and in complete full bloom. so i rubbed my sleepy eyes, grabbed my camera, and here they are, in all their glory. ~Abbie

A beautiful day in San Diego as well! These vibrant flowers have been begging for a photo all week, so I finally took the time today to take a snapshot of them. Didn't know we'd both ended up taking photos of flowers, but think it's a sweet way to start off May! ~Angel
